Job Description

The A/R Coordinator is responsible for the organizing, structure and maintenance of the day-to-day accounts receivable function for the Canadian Brokerage & Freight divisions.

The successful candidate must have excellent people skills, excellent English communication skills and a strong customer service focus.  He or she must be self-motivated, able to work under pressure within tight deadlines and with little direct supervision.

Duties and Responsibilities
• Monitor and collect outstanding accounts receivables
• Maintain accurate files, and prepare various reports
• Reconciliation of customer accounts
• Maintain Petty Cash
• Process Credit approvals
• Daily bank deposits
• Assist with billing & A/P
Qualifications / Requirements
• Post-secondary education in Accounting
• 5+ years accounts receivable / collections experience
• Ability to balance a friendly work environment with high levels of productivity
• Flexible with working hours to meet deadlines at Month end
• Proven ability to communicate effectively in English (both verbal & written)
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Windows; Excel, Word & Outlook
• Valid drivers license and car (to perform bank deposits)
