Job Description

Position Title:  AZ Driver

Department: 4134
Reporting to:  Surface Logistics Manager
Location:  Vancouver
Position Summary
The AZ Driver will ensure proper documentation and inspection of company owned property while adhering to KWEC policies as well as municipal/provincial legislated requirements.
Responsibilities:
• Complete MOT circle check and fill out log book at each shift.
• Verify items picked up, match documentation provided.
• Secure cargo and equipment against theft and damage.
• Sign off on cargo; noting discrepancies.
• Move cargo to checking area for weight and dimensions as required.
• Comply with and ensure ISO policies are being followed.
• Comply with safety policies, practices and procedures.
• Report unsafe activities to supervisor and/or Human Resources.
Qualifications
• Valid AZ license, with good driving record
• Criminal background check will be performed as required by airline security
• 5+ years commercial truck driving experience
• Licensed forklift operator or willingness to learn
• Strong customer service skills
• Clear English communication skills (oral & written)
This position may require after hours work (mornings, evenings and weekends)
