CN Rail Current Labour Negotiations With IBEW
 The International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) System Council No. 11, which represents over 700 Signal and Communications workers at Canadian National Railway, may be facing a possible work stoppage effective March 21, 2017. The IBEW filed a Notice to Strike with CN.
CN continues to pursue a negotiated settlement with the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers. CN is working actively with the federal mediators and have proposed solutions to many of the issues that remain in contention.

CN has made contingency plans to continue rail operations in the event of a strike and will maintain service to its customers.

Air France fliers grounded as strike roils flight schedules February 22, 2018

Tens of thousands of Air France passengers faced disruptions Thursday as a labor strike snarled the carrier’s operations. Long-haul flights were hit hardest, with Air France canceling about half of those from its Paris schedule on Thursday. Flights to Atlanta, Detroit, New York and San Francisco were among hundreds of cancellations at the airline. More than 320 of Air France’s “mainline” flights had been grounded as of 9:45 a.m. ET,
